Independent PR firm Carnsight Communications has expanded its team with the appointment of Alexandra Johansen as an account executive.

Alexandra, pictured, initially joined the Marshfield-based agency as part of a three-month internship earlier this year and has now become a permanent member of the team, which specialises in PR services, social media management and content creation for small and creative businesses.

At the same time Leigh-Ann Hewer, who joined in 2019, has been promoted to senior account manager and Yasmin Alqatari, who arrived in 2021, is now social media manager.

Since its launch in 2016, Carnsight Communications has worked with more than 100 businesses in the South West and across the UK, including Sri Lankan restaurant chain The Coconut Tree, Bristol customer relationship management agency Armadillo, care agency Birchwood and the Flexible Space Association.

Agency owner Jessica Morgan said: “Alexandra has swiftly demonstrated her immense value to our team and we’re very lucky to have found her.

“Her exceptional writing skills and sharp eye for a story will make her an invaluable addition.”

Alexandra added: “It’s fantastic to be joining such a highly regarded agency that exemplifies excellence in PR and communications.

“I am eager to contribute my skills, passion, and dedication to further elevate the agency's success and leave a lasting impact on our clients.”

Carnsight Communications has also recently launched a new website, developed by Son of Jesse, an agency set up last year by Bath-based digital marketing and web expert Tom Beavan.
