Nineteen staff from accountants Old Mill are cycling between the firm’s five offices today and tomorrow to raise money for Somerset charity School in a Bag.

Having set out from the Melksham office this morning, they have cycled to the Wells office and then on to the Yeovil – a trip of around 62 miles.

Tomorrow they will cycle the 78 miles to the Dorchester office and then onto the Exeter.

They aim to £5,000 for the charity, which is based near Yeovil. It delivers rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster-affected children.

The challenge is being organised by David Rice, a financial planner based in the Yeovil office and staff from all the offices and all levels are taking part, including board members Kevin Whitmarsh and Simon Cole.
