Thermae Bath Spa has launched an exclusive new package that widens its offer to include night-time visits taking in moonlit swimming in its rooftop pool.

Called ‘Thermae After Hours’, the package gives exclusive access for up to 60 guests from 9.30pm to 11.30pm to the unique venue. Guests can enjoy the multi-sensory Wellness Suite, which features two state-of-the-art steam rooms, infrared room, ice chamber and celestial relaxation room and a dip in the indoor Minerva Bath.

This can be followed by use of open-air rooftop pool, pictured – while bathing in the natural thermal waters guests can sip a glass of Prosecco and take in the sights of Bath by night.

Bespoke elements of the experience can be added such as live music in the Minerva Bath and canapés in The Springs Café Restaurant.

Thermae Bath Spa director of marketing & communications Peter Rollins said: “With exclusive use of all of our facilities, Thermae After Hours offers guests the unique experience of bathing in the natural thermal waters with colleagues or friends after our day guests have left.

“The After Hours package would be the perfect way to reward your team’s hard work or to take that special celebration to the next level.”

Thermae Bath Spa, which opened 12 years ago, is the UK’s spa using only natural thermal waters. Owners YTL Hotels, part of the Malaysian YTL conglomerate, also owns the neighbouring Gainsborough Hotel as well as Bath-based Wessex Water.

The spa has played a key role in Bath’s success as a location for ‘wellness’ short breaks, which focus on the city’s spa facilities and associated natural treatments.
