Estate agency and auction firm Strakers has teamed up with experienced commercial property agent Huw Thomas to offer a more dedicated service to its clients.

The agreement has been triggered by Strakers commercial surveyor Andrew Martin taking a step back from commercial property transactions to concentrate on the firm’s growing development and auctions business.

As a result it has linked up with commercial property specialist Huw Thomas of Huw Thomas Commercial, who will now provide the full range of commercial property services to clients across Strakers’ eight offices in Wiltshire.

Chippenham-based Huw, who has more than 25 years’ experience of dealing with commercial property in the Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset area, said: “Strakers match my ethos of being a well-established independent business, who have an excellent reputation and strong client base that I can hopefully provide add value to”.

Strakers managing director Antony Bulley added: “We are delighted to be able to keep Andrew’s experience and knowledge in the business but recognise that Huw can provide a more dedicated commercial property service to our client base.

“We are delighted to have reached a working agreement that benefits both businesses”.

Strakers’ offices are in Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Malmesbury, Marlborough, Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon (centre) and Swindon (north).
