Bath Business News has teamed up with the region’s biggest business exhibition, Business Showcase South West, as it prepares to return for a second year.

Business Showcase South West 2015 (BSSW 2015) will build on the success of the inaugural event earlier this year which attracted nearly 2,000 attendees, exhibitors and big-name speakers including Apprentice star and entrepreneur Karren Brady CBE.

The 2015 event will be extended from one to two days following demand from attendees and exhibitors – making it the region’s most-prestigious and high-profile business gathering of its kind.

It will take place on May 14 and 15 and will be staged again at Bristol’s Colston Hall, placing it at the heart of the region.

Having seen the positive impact of this year’s Showcase, a number of major blue-chip companies have already committed to support next year’s event.

Bath Business News, the area’s most authoritative business news platform, has linked up with Business Showcase South West 2105 as its Official Media Partner.

Business Showcase South West founder Jamie Breese said: “Business Showcase South West 2015 will be a major business event for the whole of the South West of England and will be a true reflection of its commerce, innovation, creativity, enterprise and sustainability.

“So I’m delighted to have Bath Business News as our media partner. We advertised with it previously and the results were astonishing. We both aim to celebrate what is great about this region and share a belief that it is the most exciting place in the UK to do business.

“As a unifying business event for the region, BSSW 2015 will be a rare opportunity for businesses to create and leave a strong impression of their brand with focused visitors, all of whom are potential customers – as well as connect with other exhibitors, most importantly face-to-face.

“By aligning themselves with the most dynamic and indeed, only regional complete business event, business will gain a competitive edge by improving their prestige and exposure.

“BSSW 2015 is aiming for thousands of delegates and even more exhibitors with large sponsor displays. This week First Great Western joined the event as a Sponsor. Look out for some great deals on rail travel for delegates coming soon.”

Companies exhibiting at this year’s event included Barclays, Ultimate Finance Group, Business West, Veale Wasbrough Vizards, Walton Castle, Bristol Water, CFH Docmail, UWE, Marriott, Capital Network Solutions and many others.

Bath Business News editor Robert Buckland said: “BSSW 2014 provided a fantastic opportunity for some of the South West’s most-dynamic businesses to get together and showcase the strength in depth of the whole of the region.

“We’re looking forward to helping spread the message to our many thousands of readers that BSSW 2015 will be the business event of next year.”
