Rachel Sartin, who works in the Bath office of financial advice firm Chase de Vere, has been ranked among the UK’s top female IFAs (Independent Financial Advisers).

Rachel, pictured, appears at 12th place in the Top 25 list produced by Financial Adviser magazine, part of the Financial Times Group.

The list is based on length of service of IFAs, their professional qualifications, financial advice offered and fee income, alongside general good works, including pro bono work and innovations they have undertaken.

Rachel joined Chase de Vere’s Bath office in 2006. Prior to becoming an IFA she ran a vineyard in France as well as holding senior project management positions.

Rachel’s clients are predominantly doctors or other individuals in Bath and the South West referred by solicitors, accountants or existing clients. She is actively involved in training new advisers, is a pension and long-term care expert with specialist knowledge in defined benefit pensions and is often the lead presenter for seminars to doctors and GPs.

Chase de Vere chief executive Stephen Kavanagh said: “I am delighted that Rachel has been included in this prestigious list and that Chase de Vere is the only financial advice firm with two, let alone three, advisers listed in the top 12.

“In a male dominated profession, we’ve always encouraged and supported female advisers and will continue to do so; many of our best advisers are women. These accolades confirm to us what we already know, that in Rachel and her colleagues we employ some of the very best female independent financial advisers in the UK.”
