Staff at the Bath offices of law firm Withy King have raised £12,144.25 for Children’s Hospice South West with a wide range of fund-raising activities.

These included a 180-mile staff cycle-ride from Children’s Hospice South West, based in Bristol, to Helen and Douglas House in Oxford, a Santa Fun Run around Bath, the Bath Half Marathon and Bristol 10K run and an office bake-off.

Withy King partner and chair of the firm’s charities’ committee, Chris Kane, said: “We are committed to making a positive impact on the communities we work in. The staff in our Bath offices nominated Children’s Hospice South West as their charity of the year and we are delighted with what they have managed to achieve.”

Corporate partnerships fundraiser at Children’s Hospice South West, Janey Hellmen, added: “As our charity of the year partnership comes to an end we are thrilled that an outstanding £12,144.25 has been raised by Withy King, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm all their staff.

“The funds raised will allow us to continue to offer the best possible hospice care for life-limited children and their families from the South West enabling local families to make the most of the precious time they have together.”
