Bath-based public relations firm Creatrix PR has expanded its team by hiring Bath Spa University graduate Charlotte Townsend.
Charlotte, pictured, has joined the agency as a junior account executive after completing her Media Communications course this summer with a 
first-class honours degree.
Charlotte, who previously undertook work experience with the agency as an intern, said: “Studying in the beautiful World Heritage city of Bath over the past three years has been absolutely fantastic and I’m really happy the hard work paid off!
“It was invaluable to my studies to have been given the opportunity by Creatrix PR to gain experience. Working as an intern during my degree gave me access to industry skills and knowledge preparing me for the world of work.
“To leave Bath Spa University as a graduate and begin full-time employment with the brilliant team at Creatrix PR is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me working in the city.”
The latest Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) survey shows that 96.1% of Bath Spa graduates are either in work or further study six months after graduating from their course.
Creatrix PR is no stranger to hiring graduates. In-house graphic designer Craig Gill joined the firm in 2011 after completing a degree in Graphic Communications at Bath Spa.
The agency, which employs six people, has a wide-ranging portfolio of services that spans PR and marketing, community consultation and political engagement, as well as design for web and print.
Its clients include Bath Rugby, Bath Cricket Club, city-based housing company Curo, Bath property developer HPH and Exeter City Council.
