Five individuals who want to become Bath’s MP at the General Election will face questions from the city’s business community tomorrow.

The Question Time-style event, staged by the Institute of Directors (IoD) and which is being supported by Bath Business News as media partner, will give each candidate the chance to speak on their vision for Bath before facing questions from the floor.

Taking part will be Steve Bradley (Lib Dem), Loraine Brinkhurst-Morgan MBE (Independent), Ben Howlett (Conservative), Ollie Middleton (Labour) and Dominic Tristram (Green).

The debate will be chaired by Peter Hawkins, Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, Visiting Professor University of Bath, Emeritus Chairman of Bath Consultancy Group and chairman of Renewal Associates.

It takes place tomorrow (Tuesday, March 10) at the Hilton Bath City hotel in Walcot Street from 6pm. It will be followed by networking – the latest in the IoD’s Bathtime @ 6 events.

Questions for the candidates can be submitted in advance at iod.southwest@iod.com

To book for the hustings – or to find out more about Bathtime @ 6, go to www.iod.com/swestevents or call the regional IoD office on 0117 370 7785.
