The Agency, the Bath-based planning, creative, technology and media firm, has won a prestigious Grand Prix at the RAR Awards – the industry’s most coveted accolade.

The Agency, whose clients include the British School of Motoring, BT and Del Monte, received the award – one of only two presented each year – at a black-tie event held at London earlier this week.

Now in their fifth year, the RAR Awards are based on agency performance as voted by clients, using agency data and client commentary collected by RAR on an ongoing basis.

RAR managing director Steve Antoniewicz said: “Every year the RAR awards give recognition to the agencies who perform well as judged by the toughest critics, their clients. Hats off to every agency who made a very competitive shortlist this year and a huge well done to the winners for achieving amazing levels of performance across the last 12 months.”

The awards are given to agencies based on the services they provide and also for service level categories including effectiveness, creativity and innovation, value for money and strategic thinking.

The Agency had been nominated in eight categories in the awards, including Best Advertising Agency, Best Brand Strategists and Best Design Agency. The awards are famed for being judged in the most part by clients themselves.

It could add to its awards tally next month when it competes in two categories in this year’s Drum Marketing Awards.

Established in 2008 by Saman Mansourpour and Amy Stobie, The Agency’s services span advertising, brand strategy, corporate communications, media buying and TV/video/audio production
