Accountants Bishop Fleming have secured a better office for its recently-acquired Bath operation.

Having secured the business of Target Accountants in Bath, Bishop Fleming has taken a 10-year lease on Minerva House to provide growth space for the firm's new Bath office, which is now the biggest accountancy firm in the city.

Located next door to its current office in Lawrence House, Minerva House provides 9,500 sq ft of office space on two floors with ample parking for staff and visitors.

Andrew Sandiford, partner in charge of Bishop Fleming‘s Bath office, said: “This was a huge issue in our search for a new office, at a time when we have already grown by more than 10% since joining Bishop Fleming.

“Bath is a wonderful city but it was crucial that we moved to a better office where we remain easily accessible for clients and staff, with no parking problems. Minerva House ticks both those boxes.

“This move underlines Bishop Fleming‘s long-term commitment to Bath and provides room for further expansion."

The office's 50 staff will make the move next door to Minerva House at the beginning of June.

“Once we have made that move, we‘ll arrange events for our clients and intermediary contacts to visit our new office. We aim to make those events fit with our commitment to Bath‘s artists, the anniversary of Bath as a World Heritage site, and the Minerva link to Bath‘s Roman history,” Mr Sandiford said.
