Bath Mencap Society, the local charity supporting people with learning disabilities, is seeking people with business, legal or IT experience to join as trustees and help shape the future of the organisation.
The charity’s vision is for people in the Bath area with a learning disability to live fulfilling lives where they are valued equally, listened to and included.
It is about to embark on a significant and exciting phase of change and is seeking motivated people to help shape its future. 
In order to have a balanced board it is considering people with the following backgrounds/skills:
- Business or commercial
- Legal profession
- IT or advertising
- Fundraising or charity
- Health or social care
- Parent or carer of someone with a learning disability
- Pastoral care
