Rhian Sangha, an independent financial adviser at Chase de Vere’s Bath office, has been shortlisted in the Retirement Planner Awards 2018.

Rhian, pictured, will line up against other nominees in the Young Retirement Planner of the Year category at the awards ceremony on June 15 at The Waldorf Hilton Hotel, London.

The 28-year-old joined financial advice firm Chase de Vere in 2013 in an administration role. She focused heavily on taking professional qualification and was promoted to be a paraplanner and then moved into a pension specialist role.

Rhian then achieved her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and became an independent financial adviser.

She currently works with 90 private clients, advising them on pension planning, taking pension benefits and generating income and tax planning in retirement.

Chase de Vere chief executive Stephen Kavanagh said: “It is fantastic recognition for Rhian to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award, and to be recognised as one of the best young advisers, at such an early stage of her career as an independent financial adviser.

“She has grasped the opportunities which we provide to our employees and I have no doubt that her professional career will continue to go from strength to strength in the years ahead.”

Chase de Vere, which is backed by Swiss Life, provides independent financial advice and planning services for private individuals and businesses across a network of 17 UK offices.
