Regional accountancy group MHA Monahans has strengthened the team in its Bath office with the appointment of Carmelo Lattuca as client portfolio manager.
Carmelo, pictured, has joined from the Bristol office of regional accountants Milsted Langdon, where he spent nearly two years as a senior general practice manager. 
He has also worked for Bristol accountants Houghton Stone as a business services director and accounts manager.
He qualified as an ACA in 2014, having achieved a First-Class Honours Degree in Economics from The University of the West of England (UWE).
He attributes his interest in business and finance to having grown up in a family that runs a firm importing Italian food and wine.
He said he was attracted to MHA Monahans as the firm’s client-centric approach means he will be given even greater licence to get to know his new clients and respond to their needs.
“People invest in people and I believe it is my role to connect with individuals on a level where I’m not just seen as their accountant, but as a trusted business advisor who can add value, be it through an efficient tax saving or helping with a restructure,” he said.
