Coronavirus update: Where to go for business advice

Invest in Bath’s website has the latest news on the range of financial support schemes, including the latest government measures and local authority grants and loans.

The website is run by the business growth and regeneration teams at Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) Council in association with the West of England Combined Authority’s inward investment body Invest Bristol + Bath. 

Business advice group Cool Ventures is offering free one-to-one sessions that are available remotely for those seeking assistance with cashflow, contingency planning, income generation and other timely subjects.

Bath & North East Somerset Council has set up a dedicated email address for queries directly relating to Covid-19 –

South West business support service Inspire has extended its free expert advice to all businesses seeking support.

This includes:

  • Up to the minute, practical, business specific, government bulletins.
  • Guidance on what financial support is available to you and your business and how to access it.
  • Expert advice in risk mitigation, cashflow concerns, workforce advice, utilising technology to aid business operation and a vast breadth of other areas.
  • Local connections and solutions for supply chain and logistical challenges. Businesses collaborating to deliver products and services which are not able to be serviced by Asia and Europe currently.
