Bath’s expanding creative sector is the focus for the next in the Circo Networking series, staged in conjunction with Bath Business News.

The South Parade bar and Bath’s only dedicated business website have teamed up with Creative Bath, the organisation promoting the industry in the city, for the event next Tuesday which will bring two established Bath creative figures together for an evening of brainstorming and informal networking.

Branding will be the theme for speakers Sammy Mansourpour of The Agency and Steve Fuller, from The House – two of Bath’s leading agencies.

There will also be a ‘three in 30’ creative session. Guests will form into groups of five to come up with three solutions to three branding quandaries in 30 minutes.

There will be some great prizes for the winning team including a cocktail master class and a skid pan driving session.

Sammy is integrated marketing professional and experienced company director and co-founder of fast-growing creative marketing firm, The Agency – ranked 45 in the UK’s Top 100 Agencies 2012 by RAR, and one of the UK’s brightest new businesses in the HSBC Sky Business Awards.

Prior to founding The Agency, he was a client partner at Rapier London, Campaign’s Agency of the Year, and was co-founder of digital agency Dolphin London during the dot.com boom.

Sammy is a self-proclaimed passionate believer in commercially-minded creativity, big simple ideas and integrated, media-neutral thinking.

Steve is the creative director of The House, one of the most thought-provoking agencies working with brands in the UK.
For more than 16 years Steve has worked with businesses of all sizes, from world-famous consumer brands like Swatch and Jack Daniel’s through to South West-based companies like Touchstone and Consumer Intelligence.
For Steve, it’s not the size of an organisation that matters. It’s all about using brand expertise to get to the heart of it. Ultimately, Steve loves the undeniable honesty of what brand is – what other people say or feel about a company.
As usual Circo will be offering complimentary prosecco and canapés on arrival and Bath Business News’ sister company Yantra Digital will be filming the event for its Bath TV platform. There will be the opportunity for you to create your own electronic business card…

The event is from 6pm onwards. For more information contact Anita Jaynes of Bath Business News at anita@bath-business.net or Circo Bar & Lounge General Manager Simon Dehany at simon@circobar.co.uk.
