Bath-based Epoch Wealth Management has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award. The firm is one of only nine national finalists competing for the hotly contested title of Adviser Firm of the Year at the Money Marketing Financial Services Awards 2016.

The top category in the awards, it only goes to the very best overall financial adviser.

The Money Marketing Financial Services Awards recognise the top performers in the financial services industry with a focus on delivering excellent results for clients.

Firms are judged rigorously by industry experts on a range of measures including client service, turnover and profits, investment strategy and technological innovation.

This is the latest in a string of achievements by Epoch – it was recently named South West Adviser of the Year for the second time by respected industry journal New Model Adviser and has also been given the rarely awarded title of Accredited Financial Planning Firm by the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP), which has now merged with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Epoch managing partner Barry Newbury said: “We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for this major national industry award. To get this far, firms have to demonstrate the very highest levels of financial planning advice and expertise to help clients achieve their goals in life.

“It reflects the sheer hard work and professionalism of the entire team at Epoch. We are all keeping our fingers crossed for the big night!”

The Money Marketing Financial Services Awards 2016 ceremony takes place at Old Billingsgate, London, on June 9.

Epoch offers a full spectrum of services ranging from traditional portfolio management for individuals to specialist investment and tax planning for corporate clients including businesses, trusts and charities.

Its specialist financial services include cashflow management, inheritance tax planning, investment portfolio construction, retirement and pension planning, tax mitigation, family and mortgage protection, and business protection.
