Three former University of Bath students who have gone on to launch their own successful businesses in the city are to shed light on their entrepreneurial journeys at an event next week.

Staged by Bath Unlimited, the organisation helping promote the city’s sustainable growth and future success, the event will look at how these alumni have created companies while staying in the city where they studied.

On the panel will be Simon Rollings, CEO and founder of Canned Wine Company, E-J Roodt founder of Epowar , a revolutionary smartphone safety app that harnesses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to recognise distress in its user’s activity, and Kiera Williams, who launched online movement & wellness community CaliUnity.

Bath Unlimited said the event, being staged next Thursday 30 March between 6pm and 8:30pm in

The university’s School of Management building, would be an evening of inspiration.

“The University of Bath is a school filled with talent. Many of its students go on to have very successful careers outside of the city,” it added.

“But, as we know, Bath is home to many successful businesses and UoB graduates have set up some of the most successful ventures whilst staying in this city.”

The event is being sponsored by the School of Management’s executive education team.
