Experienced corporate tax specialist joins Old Mill accountants as head of tax

Accountants and financial planners Old Mill have appointed highly-experienced corporate tax specialist Elaine Kinsella as its new head of tax.

Elaine, , started her career at international accountants Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1988 where she trained as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, before moving onto KPMG and Capital One Bank. Most recently she was tax partner at Milsted Langton where she worked closely with owner-managed businesses.

Elaine, who specialises in international corporate tax and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, but she says the sky’s the limit for fast-growing Old Mill, which has five offices across the West, including Wells and Melksham.

“When I met the people at Old Mill, they blew me away; it’s clearly a firm that is full of talent but not only that, they have the leadership to know where they are going,” she said. 

Although she will be based in Wells, Elaine’s role will cover all Old Mill’s offices – which also include Yeovil, Dorchester and Exeter, allowing her to work closely with the whole tax team.
