Karen, pictured, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new role, with a focus on supporting owner-managed businesses, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies.

She has enjoyed a successful career in accountancy spanning more than 30 years, having trained at a firm in Bridport, Dorset, and then risen through the ranks with a number of firms across the South West.

Milsted Langdon said her expertise was broad and ranged from dealing with a variety of accountancy and tax issues including income and Corporation Tax, Individual Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax to having extensive experience with Trusts and Estate Tax computations and HMRC registration.

She has also successfully navigated complex tax landscapes and has experience in liaising with Solicitors to produce tax information for deceased estates.

Karen further expanded her qualifications by completing the CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation) and became a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) after completing a challenging accreditation process.
