First apprentice at Richardson Swift celebrates permanent post

Bath accountants Richardson Swift’s first apprentice, Ellen Crozier, is celebrating after securing a full-time position with the firm.

The 20-year-old joined straight from Writhlington School, Radstock, where she obtained A-levels in ICT, business studies and economics.

She has since gained her Association of Accounting Technicians Level 4 Diploma and been promoted to the position of accounts assistant.

Ellen has become proficient with accounting software and cloud systems, and enjoys helping clients with bookkeeping and VAT returns.

She also works within Richardson Swift’s personal tax team, preparing tax returns and learning about the complexities of tax.

Richardson Swift director of business services Debbie Boulton said: “We are delighted to announce that Ellen – who joined us as our first ever apprentice – is now a permanent member of the team.

“She has worked very hard during her apprenticeship and we have been impressed by her commitment and determination to succeed in a career in accountancy. We wish her every success in her new role with the firm.”
