Luxury homeware brand Cox & Cox has appointed Paul Strudwick to its senior leadership team as marketing director.

Paul, pictured, brings a wealth of knowledge to the Frome-based firm, which sells a range of lighting, rugs, textiles and indoor and outdoor furniture and recently announced a 75% increase in year-on-year sales.

He has more than 18 years’ experience managing multi-million-pound marketing campaigns on a global scale, previously working for brands such as BskyB, Charles Tyrwhitt and, most recently, leading the marketing function at Sofa.com.

In his new role at Cox & Cox he will be challenged with driving the brand forward by exploring new markets, increasing brand awareness, and developing its marketing strategy for its next stage of growth.

Cox & Cox CEO Richard Bell, who was formerly a marketing director with Boden and Charles Tyrwhitt before joining the firm in 2018, said: “This is a great appointment for Cox & Cox.

“Paul not only brings considerable experience, but also the boldness and energy to add to the team as we continue to break new ground.”

Paul added: Cox & Cox has always been a brand I have admired – personally for its beautiful product range, but professionally for its best-in-class customer orientated marketing strategy.

“Im thrilled to be joining the leadership team to drive the marketing strategy forward, amplify brand awareness, open new markets and ultimately continue to drive strong growth.”

Cox & Cox arose from a desire to create a unique collection of homeware products that could not be found elsewhere, with customers encouraged to find their own style by shunning trends and fads in favour of “timeless pieces and impeccable taste”.
