Roger Isaacs, a long-standing partner at regional accountancy firm Milsted Langdon, has added to his awards tally by being named the UK’s leading forensic accountancy professional for the third year running.

Roger, pictured, claimed the hat-trick in the recent Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards, which recognise those who contribute vital evidence and expertise to some of the UK’s most influential legal cases.

Roger is highly regarded for his expertise in what is a valued and specialised field.

He is also no stranger to awards, having won numerous accolades over the years, including landing the Partner of the Year title at the 2019 British Accountancy Awards.

Roger works across Milsted Langdon’s offices in Bath, Bristol, London, Taunton and Yeovil and with clients across the whole of the UK.

His services as an expert witness are regularly called upon by clients and the courts, who rely on his knowledge and impartial evidence to resolve a wide range of matters, from complex financial disputes to divorce settlements and civil and criminal cases related to fraud.

Beyond his regular work at Milsted Langdon, Roger is a former chair of the Forensic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is the national technical director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants).

His unique expertise has also made him a regular media commentator, appearing on BBC Radio 4’s Money Box programme as well as contributing to articles to the national, local and specialist press.

He is also a licensed insolvency practitioner and Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) accredited mediator

Roger said: “I am delighted to once again be recognised at the Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards.

“This is the third year running that I have been honoured with this title, which I hope helps to highlight the vital work that expert witnesses do within the court system.

“This is also wider recognition of the essential services that our wider forensic accounting team offers to clients and legal professionals across the country.

“Forensic accountants continue to play an important role in helping to present evidence to both civil and criminal courts in a manner that helps judges and juries make accurate fact-based judgments.”

Milsted Langdon offers a large range of services for businesses from routine compliance matters to specialist tax advice and planning, corporate finance, business intelligence, insolvency, forensic accounting and mediation services.
