Bath digital marketing agency Fueld Media has been appointed by a Bristol-based hospital charity to help increase its presence on social media.

Southmead Hospital Charity, the official charity of North Bristol NHS Trust, starts working with Fueld this month with a remit to increase its brand recognition and reach.

Fueld’s team of experts will help boost engagement and following of the charity’s social pages, drive high-quality traffic to its website and generate newsletter sign-ups to engage new audiences by using a variety of methods – from amplifying short-form social content to drive awareness, to educating targeted audiences of their achievements.

The team will also encourage further donations by using inspirational stories from fundraisers, donors and those directly helped by donations to charity.

Fueld Media director and co-founder Russell Gregory said: “We’re delighted to be working with Southmead Hospital Charity, helping them increase their profile and raise awareness of a variety of exciting campaigns they have planned for this year.

“It does such incredible work to support patients and staff, buy much-needed equipment and improve the lives of those at the hospital.”

Southmead Hospital Charity digital communications lead Lisa Brennan added: “From day one, the team at Fueld has not only been passionate about improving our digital marketing offering, but also about supporting our expert staff and extraordinary patients.

“We’re really looking forward to reaching new audiences with Fueld’s help and continuing to make our great hospital even better.”

With the help of its donors, the charity support transformative projects across five key areas – pioneering research, patient & family support, staff wellbeing & training, cutting-edge equipment and enhancing buildings & spaces.

Working alongside the 12,000 staff at North Bristol NHS Trust, it raised more than £2m in donations from individuals and businesses, corporate support, philanthropic giving and gifts in Wills last year. These donations enabled transformative projects worth £3.8m at the trust.

Fueld Media, which was founded two years ago by Oliver Brightman and Russell Gregory, pictured below, offers services ranging from social media, SEO and paid search to website design and marketing consultancy. It also has satellite offices in Bristol and Belfast.
