Keynsham-based facilities management firm Almeda has created 16 jobs over the past six months as it continues to expand.

The group, which has also recently restructured to improve client experience, expanded its team to meet increasing demand for its services. It now employs around 70 people.

It provides a range of facilities and property management services – from catering to maintenance, cleaning and engineering – to an extensive list of blue-chip clients, including the Bristol & Bath Science Park, the SS Great Britain, the Arnolfini art gallery and Watershed media centre in Bristol, and international businesses such as aggregate group Hanson UK and stock transfer company Computershare.

Thirteen of the new appointments have been specialists based at client premises to provide specialism on site, with the remainder based at Almeda’s Keynsham HQ to ensure client support at head office is the best it can be.

These roles range from QHSE (quality, health, safety and environment) support to ensure Almeda is keeping client premises compliant and safe, client help desk and job management coordination and support to the firm’s directors.

Managing director Brady George, pictured, said: “As Almeda’s client base grows so does the Almeda team that’s needed to support them.

“I never want to compromise on the service and relationship we have with our clients, old and new, so investing in brilliant, hardworking and, very importantly, friendly new team members is a no-brainer for me.”
