Innovative motor insurance brand hits the road, thanks to Bath’s TheAgency

Bath creatives TheAgency have developed a new motor insurance brand – Fair Pay Insurance – for Motaquote and GPS firm TomTom.

The new brand will allocate premiums based on driving ability and behaviour rather than the usual factors considered by insurers such as postcode, gender, age or vehicle type.

The driver's behaviour will be monitored by a TomTom tracker fitted in their car.

TheAgency was appointed to the account last December.

Fair Pay Insurance managing director Nigel Lombard said: "We have built a unique insurance product in partnership with one of the leading GPS technology firms in the world.

So it was imperative to get the name, brand and consumer message right."

TheAgency partner Saman Mansourpour added: "Fair Pay has a unique proposition and brand."
