National property adviser GVA has appointed six new members of staff to its South West office, heralding an optimistic start to 2017 across its multidisciplinary business.

Harry Hancock, Joanna Murray and Jordan Andrews have joined its building consultancy and architectural teams, Kimberley Brown and Emma Norman have been taken on by its planning team and Nicholas More takes up a new role as an associate in the land and development team.

Nicholas, a chartered surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, brings with him 10 years’ experience that includes the sale of development sites across the South West and South Wales, and the provision of advice on development land use and viability.

Kimberley, who has an MSc in Spatial Planning and eight years’ experience working in planning consultancy, joins the planning team as a principal planner.

Emma has recently completed an MSc in Urban Planning, and is now working towards achieving chartered RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) status. She joins the planning team as a graduate planner.

Three new starters in GVA’s building consultancy team means that the office in Bristol now boasts one of the largest building consultancy teams within the South West.

Harry, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, joins as senior building surveyor; Joanna becomes a graduate building surveyor with an MSc (Hons) in Surveying and Environmental Management, while Jordan Andrews completes the cohort as architectural technician.

GVA regional senior director, Jo Davis, said:  “GVA has the strongest regional presence across the UK of any commercial property adviser.

“It’s part of our ethos to continuously invest in our staff, and we’re delighted to welcome this new cohort of professionals, including post-graduates at the start of their careers, through to more senior levels, to our Bristol office.

“This is a very positive start to 2017 for us, and we look forward to more of the same throughout the year ahead.”
