Staff at law firm Stone King, which has offices in Bath and Melksham, have been busy raising funds for a charity which cares for children and teenagers with life-limiting conditions.

Employees have taken part in a number of physical challenges during the last year to raise more than £6,000 for Shooting Star CHASE which provides children's hospice services.

They included a sponsored cycle ride from Paris to Geneva, climbing the UK’s three highest mountains, and completing the gruelling Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest obstacle course at London's Battersea Power Station.

Partner and head of Stone King’s charity and social enterprise team Jonathan Burchfield said: “We are very pleased to have supported a charity that does such important work caring for sick children and supporting their families. We would like to thank everyone who took part and who gave so generously.”

Staff at Stone King also recently presented a cheque for more than £6,000 to the Bath Institute for Medical Engineering (BIME), making their total contributions to charity this year over £12,000.
