Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, the division that supports mid-market businesses and large corporates, has further strengthened its West operation with the appointment of Daniel Tregunna as relationship director.

Daniel will be part of the bank’s 25-strong mid-markets team, which supports a wide network of businesses with annual turnover in excess of £25m, providing financial expertise, funding and guidance to help drive confidence and business growth.

He has more than 23 years’ corporate banking experience and has spent his entire career at Lloyds Bank, primarily in the South West.

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking area director Clive Hetherington, pictured, left, with Daniel, said: “Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our growing team. His appointment adds strength to our offering in the South West at a time when we are looking to increase our lending to mid-sized companies and large corporates across the region.”

Daniel added: “This is an exciting time to be joining the team, as mid-sized businesses have such a crucial role to play in the on-going resurgence of the UK economy. I want to help South West companies deliver their growth and development objectives, and whether they are looking to access finance for their investment plans, or improve their cash and risk management strategies to strengthen their balance sheets, Lloyds Bank has a commitment to support businesses right across the region.”

An avid sportsman, David has represented Cornwall in both cricket and rugby. He will be based at the South West region’s flagship offices in Bristol.
