Bath-based digital agency Rally has celebrated its fifth anniversary by appointing Sammy Burt as its marketing director.

Rally was founded by marketing campaign experts Ali Meredith and Cam Brewer alongside digital guru Russ Back in 2014 and quickly delivered successes for its clients.

It now employs 15 people and has become the lead agency for a number of national and international healthcare brands.

Brand and marketing specialist Sammy, pictured, has joined to help the agency stay ahead of the competition over the next five years.

Having organically grown in the healthcare and dental sector, Rally identified a need for dental practices and developed its unique SAAS tool – DenGro. Now, as its fifth anniversary approaches, the leadership team have stepped back to review where they are and where they are headed.

Sammy will help the team redefine the business and brand strategy. She joins from Gloucester-based precision dental instrument manufacturer Prima Dental Group, where she was responsible for brands, marketing, internal culture and new divisional launches globally.

Sammy said: “I love getting under the skin of an organisation and thankfully Rally does too. The founders bring big agency experience to partnerships based on joint visions and accountability.

“I had heard stories of them having so much confidence in their results that they ran client campaigns on a type of ‘no win, no fee’ agreement. That’s the sort of brave agency I wanted to be a part of.”

Before working at Prima Dental, Sammy was the head of performance at Bath-based brand agency The House working alongside organisations such as the Royal Osteoporosis Society, Petainer, Smirnoff and T H WHITE.

She is also a trustee of the Bristol-based modern slavery charity Unseen and a member of leadership group Executive Foundation.

Rally said Sammy brought a high respect for brand and messaging as well as extensive experience in unearthing customer insight, identifying value propositions and working with creative teams to help organisations best tell their stories.
