Expanding Chippenham-based recruitment firm 24-7 Staffing has opened an office in Bristol to capitalise on spiralling demand for quality candidates in the city.

The move forms part of the growth ambitions at 24-7 Staffing, which provides permanent, temporary and contract staff for the driving, industrial, commercial and healthcare sectors.

As well as Chippenham and now Bristol, it also has an office in Salisbury and is looking at further openings.

It achieved 25% growth last year and is currently recruiting its own staff to strengthen the teams in all offices.

The Bristol office has been opened on the Bristol Business Park in Filton, opposite the University of the West of England (UWE), and will initially be managed by associate director Paul Squires.

Director Julian Thompson said: “This is another example of the way our company is flexible and can respond to the demands of the local economy.

“When we started, we concentrated on our driving division, but subsequently we created three new divisions to meet demand. In Bristol, we see a real opportunity to both expand our company and offer a much-needed service to businesses and jobseekers.”

The firm, which was set up in 2004, last month won a Chippenham Business Customer Services Award and is in the final of the industry’s prestigious Recruiter awards.
