Ten new arrivals bolster Stone King’s Bath office

Law firm Stone King has strengthened its team of Bath-based lawyers and support staff with 10 new appointments, including specialists in trusts & estates, commercial property and family law.

New joiners include international succession and probate solicitor Amjed Zaman who joins Stone King’s trusts and estates team from Yorkshire legal practice LCF Law.

He advises on succession and tax planning for UK clients who have assets overseas, and overseas clients with assets in this country. Amjed, who speaks Urdu and Punjabi, trained with Co-operative Legal Services in Bristol.

Solicitor Lily Langlois joins Stone King’s commercial property team, having previously worked as a real estate lawyer at international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna.

Lily deals with a range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and re-financing transactions. She also advises charities and faith organisations on property issues, and educational establishments on mergers and academy conversions.

Sarah Hindle joins the family law team from London firm Creighton & Partners. She specialises in local authority care proceedings involving children and previously worked for a French law firm in China.

Also taking up new posts are HR adviser Shelley Clayton, senior secretary Joanna Godwin, who joins the trusts and estates team, and Robert White who is a paralegal in the commercial property team.

Stone King’s business property team also welcomes legal secretary Joanne Hitchins and licensed conveyancer Manjinder Kang. Additional appointments include legal secretary Judith Logan and credit controller Andrew O’Neill.
