A widely experienced auctioneer has launched a business that combines his expertise with 21st century technology to sell art, antiques and collectables across the world.
Westbury-based The Auction Hub was founded by James Harvey, who started his career at Phillips Auctioneers, followed by a period working in London and New York for Mallett. 
More recently he was the CEO of The Fine Art Auction Group with auction and retail businesses in Berkshire and London.
Now his years of experience – along with the service expected from a traditional auction house – are being complemented by the speed and efficiency of an online platform at The Auction Hub to sell antique and contemporary items including fine art, furniture and collectables.
The business provides services from the sale of single items to complete house clearances – providing a full service from pick up to pay out.
James, pictured, who is being supported a team of auction experts and specialist consultants in his new venture, said Westbury was an ideal base for the business.
