Bath-headquartered law firm RWK Goodman has appointed Sonal Ghelani to its residential property, farms and estates team as a partner.

Sonal, who joins from specialist legal claims firm Bolt Burdon Solicitors, has spent the past 15 years dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing in London.

She advises clients from the UK and abroad across a whole range of property transactions, including sales and purchases of leasehold, freehold, re-mortgages, transfer of equity and buy-to-let properties as well as dealing with complex title issues.

Sonal, who will be based in RWK Goodman’s London office, said: “I am delighted to have joined RWK Goodman’s residential property team in London and look forward to contributing to the growth of the team and client portfolio.

“I always strive to provide a friendly, professional and proactive service and to achieve exceptional results for my clients.

“It is always a joy to guide clients through what can be a complicated process for them, as moving home is one of the most stressful things a person goes through in their lifetime.”

Mark Scott, partner and head of RWK Goodman’s residential property team in the London office, added: “Sonal brings a wealth of expertise and experience to further strengthen our team.

“We have a strong residential practice and Sonal’s arrival is a key step in expanding our capabilities and to widen our expertise and offerings to our UK and international clients.”

RWK Goodman, which was formed last year from the merger of Bath-headquartered Royds Withy King and London practice Goodman Derrick, employs more than 500 people, also has offices in Bristol, Swindon, Oxford and London.
