Michele Bodman, who joined Bath home care company Butterfly earlier this year, has been promoted to operations manager.

She is now overseeing the day-to-day operations for the firm, which provides high-quality social care in people’s own homes in Bath and Wiltshire. The company, which has offices in Bath and Westbury, employs more than 80 people.

Michele said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on this role and working hard to ensure our clients and staff are cared for and that we are, as a business, fully compliant with current legislation.”

Butterfly founders, husband-and-wife team Anne and Eric Pelling, are taking a step back from the daily activities of Butterfly to concentrate on marketing and business development

Eric said: “We were thrilled to have Michele join us earlier this year and she has proved her worth every day. She ensures our ethos and values are maintained and promoted and she helps all of our staff to build strong relationships with our clients.”

Michele has had a long career in care and is qualified to NVQ level 3. She is also an internal verifier and assessor in the social care sector with qualifications in health and safety in a care setting.
