Experienced accountant Dan Kenyon has been promoted to the position of director at regional accountancy firm Milsted Langdon’s Bath office.

Dan, pictured, joined the practice as a trainee over a decade ago. He successfully qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2011 and now supports a wide range of small and medium-sized owner-managed businesses, with a particular specialism in the leisure and hospitality sector.

He was an integral part of the firm’s business innovation team, which has enabled him to work with a large number of clients to improve the quality of their management information.

Dan is also well known in the Bath business community due to his former role as a committee member of Bath Young Professionals.

He said: “I am excited to take on this new role within the firm and can’t wait to start supporting my team and the partners of the firm.

“Since joining as a trainee, Milsted Langdon has been very supportive of me and my ambitions and I can’t thank my mentors and the rest of the team enough. I hope my innovative outlook to accounting will help with the future direction of the practice.”

Bath office general practice partner Ian Lloyd added: “Dan is an immensely talented accountant, who shows he has a real flair and passion for helping clients to succeed.

“His latest promotion recognises all the hard work he puts in to support clients and his drive to help the firm grow and move forward.”

Also promoted to director is tax specialist Vanessa Clark, pictured, who splits her time between the firm’s Bath and Bristol offices. She manages a diverse portfolio of personal clients including helping self-employed people, directors of owner-managed businesses, trusts and high net worth individuals with all aspects of their tax compliance and advising on tax issues and planning opportunities.

She has particular expertise in assisting individuals with residency and domicile issues and also regularly advises clients on capital gains and inheritance tax matters.

The promotions are among 10 across the firm, which also has offices in Taunton, Yeovil and London and employs 22 partners and more than 170 staff.
