Work by South West and UK artists will be on display when online art gallery and consultancy Modern ArtBuyer hosts its third Open House Pop-up Gallery over the weekend of May 13-14.

The pop-up gallery in Limpley Stoke, near Bath, will showcase an exceptional, vibrant collection of contemporary works by artists with a number from Bath and the South West including Mark Stopforth, Rebecca King, Paul Minott and Jess Townsend.

Artworks on show will include original paintings and hand-produced limited edition prints, hanging in situ and ready to take away. The gallery will also be showing a small selection of hand-made jewellery and lamps cast in bronze.

Director Jessica Lloyd-Smith, pictured, who is a member of AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, said visitors to previous Modern ArtBuyer Open Houses had found it inspiring to see artworks in a home setting.

“It helps them to visualise how a work of art may look in their own home,” she said. “This is the perfect opportunity for art lovers to see in person many of the stunning artworks from the gallery’s portfolio and to walk away with a great, affordable work of art.”

The open house coincides with the fifth anniversary of the launch of Modern ArtBuyer. The online art gallery and consultancy showcases selected contemporary paintings, limited edition screen prints and fine art photographs.
