Queen’s Platinum Jubilee school bunting contest launched by Mogers Drewett

Bath law firm Mogers Drewett Solicitors is staging a competition for primary school-aged children to design eye-catching bunting to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The winning schools will each be awarded £500, with the winning children receiving a £50 voucher of their choice. 

The winning entries will also be turned into bunting to for victorious schools to hang up in the as they celebrate the Jubilee in June.

Winners will be selected in three age categories – four to five years, six to eight, and nine to 11.

All schools need to do to enter is download a template from Mogers Drewett’s website or request a template by emailing louise.kelly@mogersdrewett.com.

They then have until by Friday, 6 May, to create their design and ensure it is sent to one of the firm’s offices in Bath, Sherbourne or Wells.

The winners will be notified by 12 May and presented with their prize in the week commencing 23 May by the Mogers Drewett team. 

Family team paralegal Laura Somoza, pictured, said: “The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is a once in a lifetime experience and so we are delighted to mark this occasion with a special competition.

“By producing the winners bunting we hope that this we be something that the children and their schools will remember and keep for a long time to come.”
