Recent arrivals boost Monahans’ Trowbridge team

West of England chartered accountancy firm Monahans has strengthened its Trowbridge office with two recent appointments.

Client portfolio manager Katherine Richards and tax technician David Wright recently joined the firm to work with private and corporate clients.

Katherine, pictured, who previously worked at accountants Old Mill’s Melksham office, is advising small and medium-sized businesses clients across the South West on a full range of accounting and tax services.

A qualified senior accountant, Katherine will is also working closely with Trowbridge partner Simon Tombs.

David Wright is responsible for managing the tax affairs and preparing personal tax returns for Monahans’ private clients. He brings with him a number of years’ experience working for global accountancy firm Deloitte.

Meanwhile, Monahans has recruited Sophie Evans in its Swindon office as insolvency administrator.

Sophie, who has joined from Lloyds Bank, is supporting the insolvency team in Swindon, dealing with creditors and investigating insolvency claims.

Simon Tombs said: “We’re very pleased to welcome three strong appointments to the Wiltshire team. Katherine, David and Sophie will be working across our private and corporate clients and will deliver the excellent service that has come to be known as standard.”

Monahans has 15 partners and more than 120 staff across its offices in Swindon, Bath, Chippenham, Frome, Glastonbury and Trowbridge.
