Bath-headquartered regional law firm Royds Withy King has appointed conveyancing executive Tim Bunting to its residential property and private wealth team in the city.

Tim, pictured, brings with him nine years’ experience in the residential property sector.

He has joined from the Bath office of rival Thrings, where he spent just over four-and-a-half years in its residential property team specialising in all aspects of residential freehold and leasehold property.

Previously worked for two award-winning London-based property firms where he focused on new-build developments in central London and travelled extensively to Asia and the Middle East to represent high net worth clients.

He also spent 10 months in the Bath and London offices of law firm Stone King working on freehold and leasehold property transactions.

In his role at Royds Withy King he will specialise in country and international property in Bath and nearby market towns such as Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Frome.

Tim said: “Royds Withy King has such a strong presence in the South West market and a wonderful residential property team, which I am very excited to be joining.

“Buying or selling a house can be a stressful occasion owing to emotions and life-changing circumstances. I enjoy operating within that context to make moving to a new house as enjoyable and as exciting as possible.”

Royds Withy King residential property partner Angus Williams added: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Tim into the team at Royds Withy King. He has excellent experience with high-value property in market towns and overseas and will help strengthen our overall private wealth proposition.

“While the housing market has been challenging over the past 12 months, prices are forecast to rise an average of 15.3% over the next five years post-Brexit.

“Our team are looking forward to the challenge, especially now that Tim is on-board, and we have expanded our regional presence with our Bristol hub.”
