Good Food Awards serve up the best of Bath’s food and drink

The annual Bath Good Food Awards have been held at a glittering ceremony in the Guildhall, celebrating the very best of food and drink in the city.

The awards were presented by wine expert Angela Mount and the judging panel consisted of food and drink professionals such as Martin Blunos, Fiona  Beckett, Xanthe Clay and Richard Bertinet.

Now in their second year, the awards – sponsored by Small Business Focus, Geometry PR, Minuteman Press and Waitrose -  attracted much local attention with more than 5,000 entries.

Among this years winners were:

Best Bath Institution – Beaujolais

Best Restaurant – Casanis
 
Best Hotel Restaurant – The Bath Priory
 
Best Wine List – Hudson
 
Best Vegetarian Restaurant – De Muths
 
Best Deli – Sam's Kitchen
 
Best Bakery – Lovett pies
 
People’s Award – Chequers
