Bath businesses were today hit by the snowfall which caused chaos across the region.

Bus operator First took all its vehicles off the road, including park and ride services. Bath and Bath Spa Universities were closed along with most of the area’s schools.

At Bristol Airport all flights were grounded until around 2pm. Several inches of snow had prevented 15 flights from taking off as scheduled before 8am. There remain serious delays or cancellations this evening and passengers are advised to contact their airline for further information.
