West of England chartered accountants Monahans’ new, highly-responsive website has gone live with the promise of a step change in the way existing and potential clients interact with the firm.

The site – www.monahans.co.uk – offers new functionality and regular features with a greater focus on the sectors that Monahans works in, including manufacturing, rural and legal.

There will also be a weekly Monahans blog giving visitors insights and advice on key accounting and financial issues and an easy search mechanism to find and contact senior Monahans executives and download their video cards, along with online calculators for services such as payroll and even one for users to get an indicative value for their business.

The site’s pages are also shorter and sharper and its reduced pathways mean users will be able to access what they need more quickly and easily. A feature has also been introduced that enables customers to find comprehensive answers to questions or simply download the relevant information.

The launch of the new site coincides with the start of a year-long media partnership with Bath Business News and its sister site Swindon Business News. Under the agreement Monahans, which has offices in Bath, Chippenham, Frome, Glastonbury, Swindon and Trowbridge, will contribute regular blogs on a range of topics for the sites and their weekly e-bulletins.

Monahans managing partner Mike Shawyer said: “It’s vital to stay aware of evolving technologies and maintain a strong online presence. The relaunched Monahans website gives visitors the information they need and makes it easier for them to interact with us online.”

The new site has been designed and built by Bath-based Reality House, which has worked with a number of legal, recruitment and accountancy firms. It specialises in making sites quicker and easier to use and connect with customers.

Reality House managing director Mike Fieldhouse said: “As well as fulfilling the brief, we wanted to make the Monahans site fully responsive. We recognised that one of the key factors was to have the same easy-to-use and great aesthetic experience on-the-go. With today’s technology, it is vital to be able to use the site on any device; utilising different platforms and screen sizes.”

Monahans has 15 partners and employs around 120 people across its offices. The firm incorporates Monahans Financial Services and Monahans Accountancy Services, which provide accountancy, tax, investment and wealth management to businesses and private individuals.
