Care Planning Services, a joint venture between Bath law firm Stone King and Money Wise Independent Financial Advisers, which has an office in the city, has been launched.

It provides access to a range of legal and financial advisory services designed for individuals and their families who are faced with the consequences of needing immediate care, or who are planning and preparing for later life.

The two firms, which who both have strong reputations for providing quality services to older people, have pooled their expertise to offer clients a joined-up approach to long-term care planning.

Alison Allen of Stone King said: “Together we can offer clients a more complete, rounded picture of the options open to them than they will find anywhere else.

“We will ensure that no legal or financial stone remains unturned so that we can provide clients with the best overall outcome and lifelong support.”

Duncan McKillop of Money Wise, which also has offices in London, Cambridge and Bournemouth, added: “Given the current climate of social care reform and the uncertainty that brings, it is more important than ever that older people, their families and carers receive the best possible advice to deal with the unexpected, and to enable them to plan for their future care needs.”

The joint venture will be launched at an event at Bath Cricket Club on March 25 between 6-8pm.
