An accountancy firm launched more than two decades ago is looking forward to a new era after being acquired by an ambitious London-based firm.
OD Accountants’ takeover of Wells-based Probusiness Wells-based Probusiness means it will be able to offer a wider range of services.
OD Accountants, based in Shoreditch, uses a number of Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud-based applications to provide real time information, helping business owners make better decisions.
As well as offering an interactive facility – from bookkeeping to a virtual finance director service – it also has custom-built systems in-house to ensure clients are well positioned to respond to changing events.
It said it acquisition of Probusiness meant the Somerset firm could now offer fast-growing clean energy and tech, creative, media and digital industries access to its range of cutting-edge, innovative cloud-based digital finance tools, applications and services which it will combine with its traditional accountancy and specialist tax services.
