The fashion stakes are high as Bath Racecourse promotes its annual Ladies Day to city businesses

Bath Racecourse’s Ladies Day, one of the stand-out events of its season, returns on Saturday 17 June.

Combining exciting races with glamorous outfits, ornate hats and top-quality food and drink, Ladies Day has become a key date in Bath’s social calendar and the ultimate girls’ day out.

Guests can soak up the atmosphere in the grandstand or take the opportunity to mark the occasion with a hospitality package.

It is also the one day of the season when racegoers’ fashion is as important as the racing itself, with the winner of the Style Award, which is open to everyone, taking home a £500 cash prize!

Fashion-conscious individuals who wish to enter the competition should head to the flower wall when they arrive to have their photo taken.

There will also be a ‘spotter’ in the crowd on the lookout for particularly stunning outfits.

Shortlisted contenders will be shown on the big screen and invited into the parade ring for the final judging before the overall 2023 Style Competition winner is announced.

Hospitality options are available ranging from a private table in the Paddock Pavilion Restaurant to executive boxes.

Gates open at noon with the last of the seven races at 5:15pm. A DJ will keep the party atmosphere going into the evening and there will also be an official Ladies Day 2023 afterparty at Bath nightclub Second Bridge, with free entry to anyone with a Ladies Day ticket.

Part of Arena Racing Company (ARC), Bath Racecourse hosts around 20 flat races between March and October. Following a multi-million pound redevelopment in 2016, it is now one of the area’s top locations for private events, weddings or conferences.
