Piece of good advice you were given? Never to give any! Don’t do it if it does not feel right – go with your first gut instinct.

David James joined Bath Tourism Plus in January from Peak District & Derbyshire Tourist Board, where he was also chief executive. He was previously marketing director for the National Ice Centre and Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, and sales & marketing manager for Sheffield International Venues.
