Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the area’s business community the last word on its weekly e-bulletin. This week Donna Kehoe, the Bank of England’s South West agent, answers our 10 questions.

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? Hail Caesar starring George Clooney. It is always fun to watch a Hollywood actor who is not afraid to send himself up.

Book you read? Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris.  Observant, brutally honest and extremely funny.

Music you bought or downloaded? Re-downloaded George Michael.

Concert or play you went to? Cinderella at the London Palladium. The duet performed by Paul O’Grady (as the wicked stepmother) and Julien Clary (as Dandini) was a particular highlight. And who knew that Paul O’Grady was such a fabulous singer!

Sporting event you attended? I went to Holland in September to watch my sister compete in the World Surf Boat championships. It is a mad sport, but highly entertaining to watch.

Holiday you went on? Lanzarote in May last year.

Restaurant you ate in? The Blue Ball in Sampford Moor, Somerset. It is my local and it serves really good food.

Thing that annoyed you? Rubbish broadband speed!

Thing that made you laugh out loud? My dad using the virtual reality headset we bought him for Christmas. No words could do it justice.

Piece of good advice you were given? There are many ways to get into a swimming pool but using the steps should not be one of them. A metaphor for living.

Donna Kehoe was appointed the Bank of England’s agent for the South West of England in June 2016. She joined the Bank in 1986 and was a business relationship manager for the PRA (Prudential Regulation Authority) working within the Bank’s technology department. She has held a number of positions within the Bank in banking, financial stability and technology. Donna has a BSc from the Open University and her interests include walking, cycling and photography.
