Each week Bath Business News gives a prominent member of the city’s business community the last word on our weekly e-bulletin.

This week Mark Lamputt, owner of Space Premier Fitness, answers our 10 questions

What was the LAST:

Film you watched? Elf. A Christmas classic!

Book you read? David Beckham’s autobiography My Side. What a true legend.

Music you bought or downloaded? – Frank Sinatra’s Greatest Hits. Just in time for Christmas.

Concert or play you went to? Miles Kane in Bristol. The Liam Gallagher of our generation.

Sporting event you attended? Mayweather vs Pacquiao in Las Vegas

Holiday you went on? Puerto Banús in the height of the summer – five days of champagne and sun. Lovely.

Restaurant you ate in? Menu Gordon Jones. OFFICIALLY the finest food I have ever eaten.

Thing that annoyed you? Bad smells in the gym

Thing that made you laugh out loud? Guys speeding up the treadmill when an attractive client runs next to them

Piece of good advice you were given? Study hard, work hard, train hard – and enjoy life.

Mark was born in Hereford in 1981. He started out with aspirations to play professional football until Hereford Utd told him that he was ‘not strong enough on the ball’. Mark then started regular gym training in order to develop better core strength. He quickly developed a love of the gym and the gym industry and this has become a life-long passion. Mark is a self-confessed ‘petrol head’ and loves his cars! When he is not in the gym or driving he can probably be found in the kitchen making a round of cheese-on-toast after a long dog walk, or on a hot beach somewhere.
