Law firm Thrings has welcomed the qualification of three new lawyers in its Bath office in a move it said demonstrated its longstanding commitment to supporting its staff in pursuing different journeys within the legal profession.

Ella Richardson, Stacey Mold and Lisa Hodge, pictured – along with Charlotte Jones in Thrings’ London office – have taken three different routes to qualification.

Ella will be the newest residential property solicitor in the Bath office, having completed a seat of her traineeship with the team, as well as in the firms’ family and agricultural property teams.

Thrings said that having built her experience in the private, charity, agricultural and commercial real estate sectors, both during her time as a trainee and a paralegal, Ella’s wide knowledge was a big benefit.

She regularly acts for private individuals in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property, including transactions involving unregistered property titles and transfers of part of registered titles.

Stacey and Lisa will continue as part of the firm’s private client team in Bath, having completed their CILEx qualifications, both becoming Chartered Legal Executives.

Stacey is continuing to support high net worth clients in the administration of Trusts, including managing accounts and completing tax returns, while Lisa continues her work supporting clients with Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney.

Charlotte is continuing her work in residential property in Thrings’ London office as a solicitor, having cross-qualified after passing her Solicitor Qualification Examinations, following her initial training through the vocational CILEx route.

Thrings residential property partner Alice Altounyan said: “It is fantastic to have Ella return to our team, having proven herself to be such an asset as a trainee.

“The experience she has acquired during her time in other departments across the firm will be a significant benefit to her work and thus to our clients.”

Thrings private client partner Penelope Munro added: “Lisa and Stacey have really flourished in their time with us and, through hard work and determination by managing their studies for CILEx qualification alongside the everyday work, they are a wonderful addition to the team and are a credit to the firm.”

Thrings managing partner Simon Holdsworth said: “As a proud supporter of junior members of staff developing their careers through different routes to qualification, it is great to see this latest round of qualifications showcasing such a diverse array of experience.

“To have not just one, but four fantastic colleagues qualify and remain with the firm is an absolute pleasure and I look forward to seeing them continue to reach their potential.”

Thrings also has offices in Bristol, Lydney, Romsey, Ross-on-Wye and Swindon.
